USAF convoy carrying missile components. I live in North Dakota and commute 80 miles each way for work (kickass job – worth it). Along the way, I pass dozens of underground nuclear missile silos. It’s not unusual to see security forces making their rounds at the different locations, but every once and awhile there may be repairs needed. That’s when you see these guys. These guys are all out of the Minot Air Force Base. I knew there was a convoy on the way as I had already passed several security forces and a helicopter that was hovering over a missile site. When I saw the next helicopter on the horizon and some flashing lights, I knew it was time to pull over.
